Godot 4.1 dev 1 is a dev snapshot for the 4.1 feature release. Dev snapshots are in-development builds of the engine provided for early testing and feature evaluation while the engine is still being worked on.

To make a custom build which would also be recognized as dev1, you should define GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=dev1 in your build environment prior to compiling.
