Version 2.0 includes several changes and improvments.
- Now uses IBM Notifier (included in installer pkg).
- Falls back to Jamf Helper if IBM Notifier is not found.
- Use of IBM Notifier enables the following new features, configurable using Jamf Pro parameters or in
Demote Admin Privileges.sh:- Help Button
- Notification Sound
- Better exit codes
- You may now exclude an admin user from ever seeing the reminder or being demoted
- Log rotation is now included to ensure long term or excessive use does not bloat log files
- Two versions of the installer. One includes only PrivilegesDemoter v2.0, and one includes both PrivilegesDemoter v2.0 and Privileges.app v1.5.2 to simplify deployment.
