Changes
- Fixed white screen bug that could happen at certain resolutions.
- Completely rewrote HUD scaling code (the HUD should be noticeably sharper now).
- Added a HUD resolution scale option.
- Removed unused code related to the dumped SDK.
Installation
- Download the file marked
FF7RebirthFix_v0.0.4.zipfrom the "Assets" section below. - Extract the contents of the release zip in to the the game folder.
(e.g. "steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH" for Steam).
Steam Deck/Linux Additional Instructions
🚩You do not need to do this if you are using Windows!
- Open up the game properties in Steam and add
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dsound=n,b" %command%to the launch options.
Known Issues (as of v0.0.4)
Ultrawide/narrower
- Some button prompts may appear off-screen or move with the camera.
- Some HUD elements such as the blue glow around selections in the main menu are positioned incorrectly.
- The TV overlay during the parade mini-game appears cropped.
