OnionHop v3.0.0
OnionHop V3 is a ground-up rebuild - now cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux), with a much smarter connection engine and a far wider set of censorship-resistant transports.
Highlights since v2.7
- Cross-platform: native Windows, signed & notarized macOS (universal), and Linux (AppImage) builds.
- Redesigned UI: Fluent/native look, light/dark/follow-system themes, accent picker, and 5 languages (English, German, French, Chinese, Russian).
- Smart Connect overhaul: an offline censorship "brain" that auto-picks the best strategy for your network and country - reachability-tested bridges, parallel strategy racing, fail-fast off dead paths, and per-network success memory so the next connect is instant.
- Three Tor engines: Classic (full control - bridges, country/entry/exit pinning, New Identity), Arti, and ArtiHop (fast 2-hop circuits).
- Expanded transports: obfs4, snowflake (+ AMP-cache fronting), webtunnel, conjure, meek, and dnstt (a DNS tunnel for when only DNS gets through).
- Bridge Scanner: reachability-test bridges of every transport and one-click apply the ones that work on your network.
- More bridge sources: the Tor bridge service, the OnionHop Bridges Collector, built-in community bridges, and automatic thin-set top-up.
- Relays browser: search and pin relays by country, role, flags and bandwidth.
- Command-line interface (Windows) with a live status dashboard.
- Stronger leak protection: full DNS-over-Tor, kill switch, and UDP blocking in TUN mode.
- Snowflake-proxy volunteering, a decoupled system-proxy toggle, an opt-in persistent admin helper (off by default), an in-app changelog, and Bitcoin donations.

Notes
.onionsites need a Tor-aware client (Tor Browser recommended) or SOCKS remote DNS.- Bridges, country/relay pinning and control-port New Identity require the Classic engine.
