downsample is now on by default on iOS. Images at least twice the size their views need are decoded at about the view's size, as on Android, which uses much less memory (20 large photos in small views: 455 MB → 79 MB). If you enlarge images beyond their views with a transform (e.g. a pinch-to-zoom viewer), set downsample={false} on those. It needs SDWebImage 5.19.7 or later: with 5.19.0–5.19.6, photos with an EXIF orientation show sideways when decoded smaller, so update SDWebImage or set downsample={false}.
