Release date: 2026-11-02

  • Fix: Restrict only_leap_years percentile bootstrap calculations to the percentile base period (#514).
  • Fix: Correct the 7.3.0 date_event extrema regression that returned the period sum instead of the requested maximum or minimum. Chunked inputs no longer fail, and rolling extrema now return event dates (#517).
  • Fix: Non-monthly percent results have been wrong since at least 6.2.0 (verified in 6.2.0, 7.0.0, and 7.2.0): count_occurrences(out_unit="%") returned fractions or raw counts instead of percentages, making common results 100 times too small (#520, #527).
  • Fix: Use the year containing February for the ONDJFM percentage denominator. Since at least 7.0.0, leap status was taken from the output timestamp year (verified in the 7.0.0 and 7.2.0 source; #521, #530).
  • Fix: Prevent annual percentage output from crashing across multiple years on fixed CF calendars (#522, #531), and use a 360-day denominator for 360_day years. Since at least 7.0.0, annual denominators were hard-coded to 365 or 366 days (verified in the 7.0.0 and 7.2.0 source; #523, #531).
  • Fix: Report missing event dates when a consecutive-run period contains no event (#524, #529).
  • Fix: Include values equal to the 1 mm wet-day floor in R75pTOT, R95pTOT, R99pTOT, and fraction_of_total calculations. Since at least 7.0.0, the floor used the percentile threshold's strict > operator (verified in the 7.0.0 and 7.2.0 source; #525, #528).
  • Test: Record non-bootstrap performance invariants (#515).
