  Replace the Material for MkDocs / ProperDocs site with VitePress (#459).

  • Add a VitePress project under docs/ (npm, Node 22 via .nvmrc and devenv).
  • Generate the CLI and API reference at build time with a griffe/click
    script (docs/scripts/generate_reference.py); output is gitignored.
  • Keep existing URLs by emitting each page as foo/index.html and making
    relative .md links absolute for rewritten pages.
  • Auto-scan the sidebar from the section directories.
  • Convert admonitions, tabs, collapsibles, includes, and the home page to
    VitePress syntax; render definition lists with markdown-it-deflist.
  • Update the final-deploy and PR-preview workflows, justfile, pre-commit
    config, and the docs dependency group.
  • Remove properdocs.yml, overrides/, gen_doc_stubs.py, custom CSS, and
    giscus comments.
  • Switch the rumdl flavor to "standard"; this reindents nested lists in
    README.md.
