npm redmatic-homekit 4.0.2
v4.0.2

Fixed

  • Syslog filled with "characteristic was supplied illegal value"
    warnings
    (#387, reported by @jp112sdl, since 4.0.0): hap-nodejs 2.x
checks every value against the characteristic's range and logs each one
outside it — every night for a light sensor at 0 lx (HomeKit's minimum is
0.0001 lx), and on every update of a temperature above 120 °C. The
Homematic accessories now clamp numeric values to the characteristic's
range before handing them to HomeKit, for every device module and the
generic mapping alike; nothing is logged any more (a clamp shows up in
the debug log only). Temperature sensors and thermostats of the generic
mapping also take the range their paramset reports where it reaches
    beyond -50…120 °C (up to -270…1000 °C), so e.g. a fireplace sensor at
165 °C is shown as 165 °C instead of 120 °C. Pairings and accessories are
    unchanged.
