node-oracledb v26.0.0 is now available. See the release announcement and release notes for details.
This release adds support for Thin mode CQN and AQ notification support and Oracle AI Database 26ai Transaction Priority, new Vector SDK and Deep Data Security plugins and secure cloud-native connectivity for JavaScript and TypeScript developers. This release brings powerful new capabilities for building event-driven, priority-aware, secure, and AI-powered applications with Oracle Database.
In alignment with other Oracle Database open-source drivers (python-oracledb, rust-oracledb and go-oracledb), we’ve bumped the major version number from “7” all the way up to “26” in this release. Going forward, the major version number will reflect the two digit year in which that major version was first introduced.
Pre-built binaries are available for Node.js 14.17 or later.
