Runs on senpi 2026.11.3-3: Claude Opus and Fable get their full system prompt back (the pre-diet wording; every other model keeps the slimmer prompt), Anthropic Subscription no longer refuses a working Claude login as blocked when an older omo process is still running or when Claude Code can't read its login behind a locked keychain, a usage limit with an ISO reset time blocks that account until the reset instead of retrying every minute, a goal waits for the first limited account to come back instead of spending turns, and Shift+Enter inserts a newline in macOS Terminal.app. (#12311)

Runs on senpi 2026.11.3-3: the engine socket can now send compact message updates (compact_message_updates_v1) with event_resync recovery, so long streamed turns cost less to relay. It stays off unless SENPI_ENGINE_SOCKET_COMPACT_UPDATES=1 is set. (Part of code-yeongyu/senpi#4272) (#12215)

macOS computer use keeps the display awake while it operates, and says when the screen is locked or asleep. The engine now holds a PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep power assertion ("OmO computer use is operating the desktop" in pmset -g assertions) from the first request other than capabilities, control.state and stopPath.* until 60 seconds after the last one; session.close, a disconnect and a stop release it at once. capabilities.displayAsleep reports when every display of the session sleeps, omo doctor prints it on the display line, and a CaptureFailed, InputFailed or Timeout message ends with (the screen is locked) or (the display is asleep) when that is the likely cause. Other platforms are unchanged. (#11530, part of #11466)

Fixed

• In the desktop's first-run setup, "Understanding you" no longer stops with "No retained scan with this id" after About you brings anything in. Applying an onboarding scan now keeps it available to understanding until the scan expires; a scan is still applied only once. (#12509, fixes #12508)
• The engine now registers its agent dir with the device service even when the service's state directory appears right after the engine started (for example, when the device service is installed or started at the same moment). A freshly armed directory watch can miss an entry created in its first milliseconds, so the registrant never noticed the service and other devices listed no sessions. Each watch arm now re-checks the path once after it settles. (#12482)
• Your other signed-in devices now see this device's sessions after the OmO device service starts or restarts. Every omo engine, in the terminal and the ones the desktop app starts, keeps its own agent directory registered with the device service and registers it again when the service comes back or the device is signed in again; it never holds an engine open and stays off with "device_service": { "enabled": false }. (#12380, fixes #12379)
• A reflection sandbox probe that timed out once (for example on a busy machine) no longer turns the sandbox off until restart. Reflection checks again on its next run, so it runs sandboxed again once bwrap responds. A machine where bwrap definitively cannot create a sandbox is still checked only once (#12376). A reflection run that falls back to running unsandboxed because bwrap is unusable at that moment is now logged once as a degraded sandbox, and once more when the sandbox comes back, instead of passing silently. (#12378)
• A session whose Stop was released but whose background children stayed paused, refusing every new task with "Task admission is held by your Stop", is released by the next message you send. /resume and new prompts used to do nothing because the session no longer held a Stop, so only /reload or a restart cleared it (#12342). (#12343)
• Revoking a memory-sync device, omo logout, or signing out on the desktop no longer freezes every other device's pushes. A remaining device now rotates the account memory key so the removed device is excluded, and it can no longer read notes written after it was removed. While a key change is pending, the status shows sync as blocked instead of claiming it is synced. (#12280) (#12302)
• The dev-browser CDP-port test "with no grace window it still runs cleanly under set -u" now waits for the port holder to exit before it checks that the holder received SIGTERM. Under host load it could fail even though the release worked (#12287). (#12293)
• Memory sync replicates between devices again. The client refused every batch row from GET /v1/sync/entries that carried the batch_id the service contract declares, so two devices paired but no edit reached the other. Account recovery, and pairing a device after the first batch, failed the same way. A well-formed batch_id on a batch row is now accepted. A null or malformed one, one on a keyring row, and any other extra field are still refused (#12277). (#12292)
• Background task children that a Stop paused are resumed again when you type after the Stop. The run's Resume used to miss them because the Stop's own run fences raised the session's pause sequence, so they stayed paused for hours while the task widget showed them as running or starting (#12249). (#12268)
• A paused child that its run's Resume cannot restore is retried a few times and then ends as an error the parent is told about, instead of staying paused forever. Its transcript is kept for task_output. (#12268)
• The task widget shows a paused child as paused, with no running clock, and /task-kill offers paused children. (#12268)
• Memory reflection children started inside the Linux bubblewrap sandbox no longer exit at startup with unsafe trust ancestor. Inside the sandbox's user namespace, root-owned directories show the overflow uid. The engine trust stage now accepts one only when the launcher verified, from outside the sandbox, that this exact inode is root-owned. A directory owned by another user is still refused. The sandbox child also gets its own private TMPDIR, and a read-only trust directory falls back to a private temporary one. A hand-made user namespace that omo cannot verify now gets the named refusal trust-userns-unattested with a next step, instead of a stack trace. (#12079, code-yeongyu/senpi#5334)
• RPC liveness tests keep pre-existing async work on the real clock, so unrelated timers cannot be mistaken for leaked session timers during confirmed close. The regression injects a foreign timer while the session is terminal-pending and retains every close and cleanup assertion. (#11937, fixes #11934)
• Keep buffered logging on its own scheduler and cancellation pair so virtual clocks used by RPC callers cannot capture log flushes (#11687, landing the work from #11641)
• A disposed process child no longer sends anything or arms a timer after its teardown: a late abort, steer, finished-turn check or state probe is refused at once instead of waiting out a 10-30 s request deadline, an extension UI request it sends after teardown gets no automatic answer written back, a closed-pipe error reported after teardown no longer arms the exit grace timer, and a heartbeat probe whose launch lands after its heartbeat stopped is skipped (#11687, part of #11673)
• A memory session's shutdown now waits for every memory read still running in its identity directory: the compiled-block and recall-corpus caches, every memory hook and memory tool call in flight (a prompt turn, a settle, a memory tool write), the bind-time reconcile, and detached dream requests are all tracked, so no git child outlives session_shutdown and Windows no longer fails the next removal of that directory with EBUSY (#11671, part of #11135; the probe case is #11136)

Changed

• Thread tools no longer refuse a chain of messages at its fifth hop, at 64 messages, or when it comes back to a session it passed (A to B to A): a chain has no hidden count limit. A chain continued after its 7-day root lifetime is delivered under a fresh root instead of being refused. A session still cannot message itself. (#12331, part of #12320)
• Thread tools and subagent, workflow, workpool and team tools declare that they run on the loop side of a split session (runs: "brain"); sessions that are not split behave exactly as before. (#12324, part of #12320)
• The OmO Native extension's main bundle is about 27.9 KB smaller: the two ultrawork directive variants store their shared text once instead of twice. Both directives are unchanged. (#12291)

Added

• Every interactive omo start now sets up this device's OmO device service in the background once you are signed in, so your other signed-in devices can see and command its sessions. It never delays the start and speaks up only when it stops on something you can fix. Turn it off with "device_service": { "enabled": false } in omo.json, or keep it and stop other devices from controlling this one with omo remote control off (omo remote control shows the setting). (#12257, part of #12051)
