- Grid: a
grid_numbelow 1 after rounding (such as 0 or a negative number), or one that is not a number, draws the default 4 units and logs one console warning; a fractionalgrid_numis rounded - Grid: a value range whose
minequalsmax, or avaluesarray with one entry, draws a single grid tick instead of five ticks on the same value, a lone "NaN" tick (withgrid_snap) or a lone "undefined" tick - Grid: a
prettify_gridthat returnsundefinedornullfalls back toprettifyand then to the built-in formatting; one that throws no longer stops the slider from being created - Grid: the first grid label is always visible, and so is the last unless it would overlap the first on a very narrow slider; no two visible grid labels overlap
- Grid: every labelled grid tick names a value the handle can reach and sits where the handle stops on it.
grid_numis a target, so the grid can use more or fewer units than it names: from 0 to 100 withstep: 10and the defaultgrid_numof 4, the grid shows 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 - Grid: with
grid_marginon (the default) every grid label is centred on its tick, a shift of a few pixels at most. Shown grid labels no longer carry an inlinevisibility: visible, so a stylesheet rule that hides.irs-grid-textnow applies to them - Grid: with
grid_snap, a value range such as 0 to 2.7 withstep: 0.3no longer draws a blank extra tick destroy()hands the input back as it was: nofromortoleft in its data, and its disabled state restored- A slider with
blockno longer responds to the keyboard; the arrow keys used to move it. On a focused blocked slider the arrow keys now reach the page, as withkeyboard: false - The input's value is matched against the text of each
valuesentry, sodata-valueslists and number-like entries find the right one. Withdata-values="1,2,3,4"andvalue="2"the slider now starts on the entry 2; it used to start on the entry at index 2, which is 3 - On a slider without
values,from_valueandto_valuearenullafterupdate()too; they used to beundefinedthere - The max label has one space between
max_postfixand apostfixthat starts with a space; it used to have two - On the single type the callback data has
to_pretty,to_percentandto_valuefrom the first callback; until the firstupdate()orreset(),to_prettyused to be missing andto_percentwas 0 min_intervalandmax_intervalnow also apply when the slider is created and whenupdate()runs: a starting pair that breaks either one is moved to keep it, so such a slider can start on different values than before- With
prettify_enabled: falsethe*_prettycallback fields are strings, the same as the labels - The built-in formatting no longer puts the thousands separator inside the decimals: 1.2345 reads "1.2345", not "1.2 345". Values with three decimals or fewer read as before; with
prettify_all_values, a decimal number inside a text entry is no longer split either - On the double type a click on the track moves the nearer handle; just past the middle between the handles it used to move the farther one. A click exactly halfway between the handles moves the to handle
- With
drag_intervaland both handles on one value, a click on the track, the key presses after it and a drag of the bar keep the value label visible; they used to hide every value label - With
drag_intervaland a fixed handle, a key press after a click on the bar now firesonFinishand still moves nothing. Since 2.4.0 that press fired nothing, so code that countsonFinishcalls sees one more - When
minis not a whole number of steps (such asmin: 0.5, step: 1), each arrow key press moves to the next or previous value a drag can reach; a press used to skip a value or do nothing min_intervalnow holds when rounding would leave it short with the other handle onminormax. Withmin: 0.5, max: 10.5, step: 1andmin_interval: 1, the from handle stops at 9 while the to handle sits on 10.5; it used to stop at 10. The same holds for amin_intervalthat is not a whole number of steps- That
min_intervalchange leaves sliders withmax_interval, withstep_from_minor in values mode, and whole-interval drags, as they were before - README: a note on jQuery 3.0.x and 3.1.x, which measure the
squareskin's handle too wide, so values picked by mouse or touch land slightly off; jQuery 3.2.1 or newer measures it correctly - README rewritten for first-time readers, with the contributing and releasing guides and the package description revised; the CDN examples list jsDelivr first
- The browser test suite now covers every option, every interaction and a combination matrix of 128 configurations; on every change it runs against jQuery 1.8.3, 3.7.1 and 4.0.0 slim and the minified build (the matrix on 1.8.3 and 3.7.1), and weekly against 19 jQuery builds
