Ember CLI 2.7.0 deprecates specifying baseURL
and no longer inserts a <base>
tag into index.html
. This makes it possible to provide better support for SVG and will (eventually) help reduce confusion around the far-too-similarly-named properties. You may continue to use baseURL
for the foreseeable future with a deprecation warning and it will cause no problems. For more details please review the blog post describing why we chose to do this and how to make this change in your applications.
