Misc

After updating to 2.13.3 you might this warning in the terminal while running ember serve

'instrument' is imported from external module 'ember-data/-debug' but never used`

Fear not. It's not related to your application and has been fixed in ember-data@2.14.2. Upcoming release of Ember CLI will include the fix.

Note on node@8.1.0

Some of developers reported issues with node@8.1.0 specifically when ember init or ember generate would hang indefinitely. Further research showed that this is likely node related issue. To fix it, make sure you're on node@8.1.2+.
