A minor release: ApexCharts stops writing on the element you render into, plus fixes for unit chart updates and destroy timing.
Behaviour changes to check when upgrading:
- ApexCharts no longer sets
min-heighton the element passed tonew ApexCharts(el). The height it reserves (the chart height pluschart.parentHeightOffset) is now amin-heighton its own.apexcharts-canvaswrapper, so amin-heightyou give the element, through a style prop or a class, applies while the chart is mounted and survivesdestroy()(react-apexcharts#751). Rendered heights are otherwise unchanged; code that read the reservation from the element should read it from.apexcharts-canvas. - Unit chart updates follow
chart.animations.dynamicAnimation: 350 ms by default (was 800), and no tween when it is disabled. SetdynamicAnimation: { speed: 800 }for the old pace.
🐛 Fixes
- Updates follow dynamicAnimation, 350 ms by default (was 800).
- Resolve tweened var() colours inside the chart.
- Cancel gesture timers on destroy, start clean on render.
- Finish an update mid piece-morph on the morph's clock.
- Leave the host element's min-height to the user.
Upgrading is npm install apexcharts@8.6.0.
