What’s changed

New capabilities

  • Silent page writes (#818)
    • Page create, page update, and append block children accept notifications.mode to write without notifying anyone.
  • Notion-flavored Markdown preview (#818)
    • Page markdown and comment methods accept markdown_version. v1 is the default. v2 is the Notion-flavored Markdown preview.
  • More request options (#818)
    • filter_properties on search, is_archived on data source queries, show_data_source_title on databases, and file_upload on embed blocks.
    • Status group filters (group_equals, group_does_not_equal) are typed. They need the status-group-filters-2026-10-06 beta header.
  • Skill upload types (#818)
    • UploadSkillParameters and UploadSkillResponse cover POST /v1/ai/skills/:id/upload. There is no named method yet. The README shows how to call it with request() and formDataParams.
    • PageWriteNotificationsSchema, PageMarkdownResponse, and the session filter types are now exported.

API response types

  • Comments (#818, #820)
    • New fields: original_content_deleted, has_pending_attachments, and an optional property_id for comments on a page property. The comment.created, comment.updated, and comment.deleted webhook payloads also carry property_id, and discussion_id.
  • Other new fields (#818)
    • show_data_source_title on databases, limit on relation configs, is_full_page and event_id on meeting notes, warnings on page markdown updates, email_verified on people, and is_favorited on agents.
    • Some enums gain values, such as the transcription_failed status and new agent connection types.
  • Two response types narrowed to match the API
    • GetAsyncTaskResponse reports row_limit_exceeded as a 406, not a 409.
    • The browser agent connection type is gone.
    • show_data_source_title is required on database responses, so hand-built fixtures need it.

Fixes

  • extractNotionId and extractDatabaseId with bare database links (#819, fixes #812)
    • For links with no title slug, such as /workspace/<database id>?v=<view>&p=<page>, they returned the side-peek page ID from p=. They now return the database ID from the path.
