npm @ngx-formly/core 11.1.0
v11.1.0

Features

  • core: Accept a WritableSignal as the form model. Bind it with [model]="model" to update the signal with a copy after form edits and rebuild when the application sets a new value. Add a signal model example with a computed value and live model preview (#4240).
  • core: Add extras.showValidation and a per-form options.showValidation override to control when validation feedback appears. Custom types and wrappers can use FieldType.showValidation for pending and valid states. The default error display follows this setting; custom showError functions retain control. Validators and form validity are unchanged. See the validation display guide and the new example (#4246).
  • demo: Add a Tools section with a JSON validator for Formly field configurations. Report syntax errors, invalid property types, deprecated options, and likely misspellings at their editor locations (#4245).
  • demo: Cycle between system, dark, and light themes directly from the theme button (#4244).

Bug fixes

  • primeng: Support PrimeNG 21.1.10 and remove the dependency on its v22-only AppendTo type. The website and exported examples use PrimeNG 21 with scoped Angular 22 npm overrides. Applications using this combination need the overrides in the PrimeNG installation guide (#4236).
  • demo: Link directly to the introduction example and restore the GitHub link's bottom placement and centered artwork (#4242, b20e2d1).

Documentation

  • guides: Add an external libraries guide listing the community form builder and instructions for submitting other projects (#4234).

Release tooling

  • Publish prereleases, including release candidates, with the next npm dist-tag. Stable releases use latest.
  • Publish GitHub release notes from the matching changelog entry in a separate, retryable job after npm publication. Mark prereleases accordingly (3eb83a3).
