🎉 New features
- Added
dimBlurto blur the content behind the sheet instead of tinting it withdimColor. It takes thebackgroundBlurstyles and draws the matching iOS material's tint over the blur, so the dim looks the same on every platform.dimOpacitysets the blur intensity. Android blurs on Android 12 and later unless the system turns window blurs off, and only tints otherwise. (#991 by @VladyslavMartynov10 and @lodev09)
🐛 Bug fixes
- iOS: Dismissing a sheet shortly after it presents over another sheet no longer hides the sheet behind it for a few frames when the top sheet's content resized right after presenting without changing any of its detent heights, such as a sheet with only fractional detents. (#1003 by @lodev09)
- iOS: A sheet with
backgroundColorno longer renders transparent on iOS 27 in apps built with Xcode 26 that setUIDesignRequiresCompatibility. (#1009 by @idlework) - Android: A sheet with
draggable={false}no longer takes over a vertical gesture from its content, so a map inside it keeps its pinch and pan. (#1006 by @MarkusWendorf) - Android: A back press during a sheet's dismiss animation now reaches the sheet below or navigation, instead of being swallowed by the closing sheet. A sheet dismissed right after presenting without animation no longer keeps catching back presses after it closes. (#1008 by @wildseansy)
- A sheet with a
TrueSheetPeekinside aScrollViewnow settles at the fullpeekdetent when dragged down after scrolling the content, instead of a thin band at the bottom of the screen. (#1002 by @vilindberg and @lodev09) - The
ReanimatedTrueSheetJest mock now rendersbackgroundandbackgroundStylelike theTrueSheetmock. TheTrueSheetActionsnavigation mock'spop()now defaults to a count of 1 andpopTonow passesmerge, matching the real actions. (#1005 by @lodev09) - Android: A sheet that grew for the keyboard now returns to its detent when the keyboard goes away without an animation, such as after switching to another input method. It used to stay at the keyboard height. Cancelling a back gesture that was hiding the keyboard now brings the sheet back above the keyboard. (#1007 by @TheInkedEngineer and @lodev09)
💡 Others
- Add a Dim Blur section to the Dimming guide, and the
truesheet-usageskill now coversdimBlur. (#991 by @lodev09) - The docs and the
truesheet-usageskill now say that iOS 27 ignoresUIDesignRequiresCompatibilityonly in apps built with the iOS 27 SDK or later. (#1009 by @idlework)
