gitlab soapbox-pub/ditto v2.37.3

Back means back. Tap a post, hit back, and the feed puts you right where you left off — on the card you tapped. Post timestamps are real links now, so middle-click and "open in new tab" work the way they do everywhere else on the web. Live streams quoted inside a post show their thumbnail, status, and viewer count instead of a bare line of text. Long usernames stop spilling out of notifications and menus, and Ditto now runs in fully free browsers like GNU IceCat and Abrowser.

Added

  • Ditto runs in fully free browsers that block unlabelled JavaScript, such as GNU IceCat and Abrowser, and lists its licenses at /jslicense.html

Changed

  • A live stream quoted inside a post shows its thumbnail, live or ended badge, and viewer count, matching how streams look in the feed
  • A post's timestamp is a real link, so middle-click, right-click "Open in new tab", and Ctrl/Cmd-click open the post in a new tab — and it works with scripted popups blocked

Fixed

  • Going back from a post returns you to your place in the feed, anchored to the card you tapped
  • Long usernames no longer spill out of notification headers, the post actions menu, or embedded post cards
