A fifth release candidate for OpenPhotoId 0.1.4, for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Android.
This is a pre-release. GitLab has no pre-release flag: its latest-release link, which the download buttons on openphotoid.com and the desktop update check both follow, goes to the release with the newest date. This one is dated just before 0.1.1 for that reason, so 0.1.1 stays the default download and Check for updates does not offer this build. To try it, download it from this page.
What changes since 0.1.4-rc.4
Formal clothes (web app, Android and the desktop app)
- A hood or raised collar beside the jaw is covered, up to where it meets the jaw and the hair. It used to be taken for skin and stay visible above the shoulder.
- The garment's top edge follows a smooth shoulder and neckline curve instead of every strand of hair and fold of the hood.
- No more small blue or white specks along the garment's edge where hair met the background.
- Shirt and Blouse darken slightly towards their outline, with a fine grey line at the edge, so a white shirt on a white background reads as a shirt.
- A top the same colour as the hair can still show.
Downloads
- macOS 11 or later:
OpenPhotoId_0.1.4_universal.dmg, one app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, signed and notarized by Apple.
- Windows 10 or 11, x64:
OpenPhotoId_0.1.4_x64-setup.exe. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Android 8.0 or later:
OpenPhotoId-v0.1.4-rc.5.apk, signed with the same key as the earlier release candidates (version code 1008), so it installs over 0.1.4-rc.4 as an update.
latest.json, OpenPhotoId_0.1.4_universal.app.tar.gz and the two .sig files are what the desktop update check reads; you do not need to download them. SHA256SUMS lists the SHA-256 checksum of each file.
