A fourth release candidate for OpenPhotoId 0.1.4, for macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows and Android.
This is a pre-release. GitLab has no pre-release flag: its latest-release link, which the download buttons on openphotoid.com and the desktop update check both follow, goes to the release with the newest date. This one is dated just before 0.1.1 for that reason, so 0.1.1 stays the default download and Check for updates does not offer this build. To try it, download it from this page.
What changes since 0.1.4-rc.3
Formal clothes (web app, Android and now the desktop app)
- Your own clothes are found in the photo by telling skin, hair and clothes apart, each grown from where it is certain (the cheeks, the hair on top and beside the face, the bottom of the photo), so a top in several colours is found whole: a jacket over a T-shirt, a patterned part, a collar raised beside the jaw, on both sides.
- All of it is covered, including the T-shirt's neckline inside the drawn collar, and the garment's outline follows your clothes with a soft edge instead of square steps.
- "Only the top of the clothes shows" appears only when the clothes really do not reach past the neck.
- Hair the same colour as the top, or a very thin coloured edge right against the jaw, can still show.
Desktop app (macOS and Windows)
- Soften skin and Formal clothes, as in the web and phone apps. Neither is offered for documents that refuse an edited photo.
Downloads
- macOS 11 or later:
OpenPhotoId_0.1.4_universal.dmg, one app for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, signed and notarized by Apple.
- Windows 10 or 11, x64:
OpenPhotoId_0.1.4_x64-setup.exe. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Android 8.0 or later:
OpenPhotoId-v0.1.4-rc.4.apk, signed with the same key as the earlier release candidates (version code 1007), so it installs over 0.1.4-rc.3 as an update.
latest.json, OpenPhotoId_0.1.4_universal.app.tar.gz and the two .sig files are what the desktop update check reads; you do not need to download them. SHA256SUMS lists the SHA-256 checksum of each file.
