Important
If you recently set-up a new installation of IronFox, and selected the Default Protection
mode for DNS over HTTPS from the onboarding, please navigate to Settings
-> Privacy and security
-> DNS over HTTPS
, and ensure that DNS over HTTPS is set to your preferred value.
Additionally, this release adds new toggles in Settings to control various preferences. If you have previously configured values for the following preferences from your about:config
, please check and ensure that the new corresponding UI setting(s) are set to your preferred value(s):
browser.cache.disk.enable
browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl
media.peerconnection.enabled
network.dns.disableIPv6
network.http.referer.XOriginPolicy
security.OCSP.require
svg.disabled
webgl.disabled
xpinstall.enabled
We also now have documentation pages! This is meant to serve as a temporary place to provide users with information, until our website is ready. We highly recommended checking this new documentation out, as it provides important information to keep in mind when using IronFox, and it will likely address any questions or concerns that you may have.
