Important

If you recently set-up a new installation of IronFox, and selected the Default Protection mode for DNS over HTTPS from the onboarding, please navigate to Settings -> Privacy and security -> DNS over HTTPS, and ensure that DNS over HTTPS is set to your preferred value.

Additionally, this release adds new toggles in Settings to control various preferences. If you have previously configured values for the following preferences from your about:config, please check and ensure that the new corresponding UI setting(s) are set to your preferred value(s):

Added back the setting to enable/disable the Tab bar feature, located at Settings -> Customize -> Tab bar display -> Show tab bar.
Added a built-in collection of wallpapers for customizing the browser homepage (The current set of wallpapers are taken from Fennec F-Droid, and are available under the Unsplash License).

Disabled fetching favicons for shortcuts/pins on the browser homepage from Mozilla's Tippy Top provider (Favicons will still display on the homepage after navigating to the shortcut/pin).

Enabled the use of encrypted storage (via Android's Keystore System) for Firefox account state and certain preferences.
Hid the Passwords item from the drop-down menu if the browser's password manager is disabled.
Hid the Sync and save data item from the drop-down menu if Firefox Sync is not signed in.
If the Open links in a private tab setting is enabled, when in Private Browsing, enabled a menu option to open the current tab in a regular tab.
Removed the unwanted/unnecessary Customize homepage button from the browser homepage (This same menu can still be accessed by selecting the 3 dots -> Customize homepage, or by navigating to Settings -> General -> Homepage).
Updated the list of built-in DNS over HTTPS providers.
Other tweaks, fixes, and enhancements.
