This is a development release only, it does not feature significant feature changes and instead includes breaking changes for Community Developers to develop against, and for bug testing purposes
This release features significant database changes Backups are strongly recommended
The window is still open for any further breaking changes in v6, please discuss in #allianceauth
Breaking Changes
Most migrations were squashed in V5 and the legacy migrations are now removed, developers may need to update their migrations to depend on
("eveonline", "0019_v5squash")etc. and perhaps issue squashes of their own in the cases of apps with significant development history.
eveonlineCharacter, Corporation, Alliance etc. models now use their EVE Online ID as PK, no morecharacter.character_idshenanigans. A migration path for FKs is included but it needs testing against Community Creations. Please reach out if this causes you issues or you need help migratingChanges
The project assumes python 3.14 by default, docker container is updated and docs to follow.
