Last month, Github Sponsors has stopped supporting PayPal as a payment method, and require a debit or credit card now. A lot of my supporters have been using PayPal and might not have noticed this (or simply don't want to use a credit card), which means I (and other maintainers in our organization) have lost a LOT of sponsorships.
