After 2.5 months of developing Meru and constant iterations with the amazing community, I'm excited to announce that Meru v3.0.0 is now stable and officially available!

With Meru, we're also introducing a licensing model:
- Meru is free for personal use and single inbox.
- If you like to use all features and multiple inboxes or use Meru for commercial purposes, please consider upgrading to Meru Pro through our website (meru.so).
This licensing model allows us to not only cover development fees (e.g. 99 USD/year for Apple Developer Program), but also ensures that Meru keeps getting maintained long-term with updates, security fixes and new features.
Changes
- Restructured app menu to be less confusing
- Updated blocklists for ads and tracking
- URL previews now use system font
- Updated Electron to v36 (Chrome 136)
- Changed meta information such as app author and descriptions in the app
- Reordered initialization function calls for more efficient app launch
- Switched to esbuild and vite for production builds of JS, HTML and CSS
