Added
- Timecode and frame numbers. Click the OSC's time readout to cycle time →
HH:MM:SS:FF→ frame number. Positions come from mpv's own frame counter, so stepping with ← / → moves exactly one frame — no drifting, no double steps. - Timecode burn-in (right-click → Timecode overlay): an always-on readout in the corner, for when the controls have faded and you're studying a shot frame by frame.
- Subtitle appearance settings: font, size, letter spacing, outline, bold, and distance from the bottom.
- Open files straight from Explorer. Double-click a video, use "Open with", or drop a file on the exe. A second launch hands its file to the running window instead of opening another player. The installer registers the usual video and audio extensions — Windows still decides the default, nothing is taken over silently.
Fixed
- Subtitles no longer render the odd character in a different typeface. mpv's default font resolves to whatever the system picks, which on a Japanese release often lacks Simplified-only glyphs (们, 吗) — those characters then fell back to another face mid-sentence. Now defaults to Microsoft YaHei, with a fallback appended to whatever you choose.
- Screenshots are named
<title>_<position>_<yymmdd>_<hhmmss>, without the release's technical tags. - The title bar lost its text shadow and hairline.
Notes
- Windows 10 / 11.
- Not code-signed — SmartScreen will warn on first run: More info → Run anyway.
