Lunoir v0.2.0

The whole interface is frosted now — and the frost finally stays put.

Download

  • Lunoir-0.2.0-setup.exe — installer (Start Menu shortcut + uninstaller)
  • Lunoir-0.2.0-portable.exe — portable, just run it, no install

Fixed

  • The acrylic frost no longer drops out during normal use. Pausing, or clicking an OSC button, used to leave every frosted surface flat until you minimised and restored the window. Two separate causes: fading a window makes it layered on Windows (which kills its DWM backdrop), and bouncing focus off the OSC made Windows render it as inactive.
  • Holding ← / → while paused now steps frame by frame instead of racing to the end of the file.
  • The play/pause button no longer flickers while frame-stepping.

Changed

  • The right-click menu is now its own acrylic window, so it frosts the video like everything else. Submenus (Speed, Aspect ratio) expand inline with an animation rather than flying out — one open at a time.
  • Smaller: ~359 MB installed (was ~400 MB), ~108 MB download (was ~116 MB).

Notes

  • Windows 10 / 11.
  • Not code-signed — SmartScreen will warn on first run: More info → Run anyway. Normal for small indie apps.
  • Early release — feedback and issues welcome!
