Having 2 different overloads and sets of behavior complicates debugging both for maintainers and users. This release should fix the problem by introducing the configureSingle function, which acts like resolveMountConfig but also handles the unmounting of the old root and mounting of the new root. configure now only behaves in one way, which should clear things up.
