A smoothness fix for the European languages. Plays online with 0.1.39.
The first update you can install from inside the game: on 0.1.39, the game says an update is available. Press Update now, then Restart now when it's ready. Your saves, settings, game data, mods and texture packs are not touched. (Or download it here as usual.)
Fixed
- Smoother frames with a language from the European disc (German, French, Italian, Spanish). To find the menu pictures it replaces with the European ones, the game checked every effect texture of a fight pixel by pixel; frames where many effects appear at once were slower, which showed as worse 1% lows. It now turns almost all of them away after one row: the worst frames are as in English. Thank you to the player who reported it!
For Mac users building from source
- The Apple Silicon build works again: it stopped at
a11y_game.c. Fixed in pull request #247 by josehs08 (first found by leobelini in #124), thank you both! The Mac version is still experimental and built from source; every change is now checked on a Mac by GitHub as well.
