The European opening song, the European language screen, and readable names for added stages and songs. Everything from 0.1.38.2 is included.
Updating on Windows: replace every file of the old copy, not only the .exe.

- The European opening song. The European release's opening has a song with vocals that the USA disc doesn't have. If you add the European disc (SLES-54945) in the setup, the opening movie now plays it, with the same picture. The two are the same length, so it stays in step to the end. (#142)
- The European language screen. The first-run language choice now uses the European disc's own background and arrows, taken from your disc. No more copying pictures by hand. (#142)
If you added the European disc before this version, the setup shows the button again ("Add languages and music…"): add the disc once more to get the song and the language screen.
Fixed
- Names of added stages and songs with the "Original" menu font. A name with a letter the game's own lettering doesn't have, such as "x" or "z", switched to a plain fallback font. These names now use one of the PC menu fonts, so every letter looks the same. They also no longer draw on top of the settings window. (#219, fixes #69)
Also in this version (from 0.1.38.2)
- Smoother camera cuts with Smooth motion, steadier frame pacing on Windows, and a corrected "Low input lag" tooltip.
- Weather (F1 → Effects): turn the drifting dust, snow and cloud haze off or to Light. It helps weaker graphics chips.
- Render on a second processor core (F1 → Video, experimental, off by default). If your game is slow or stutters, please try it and tell us whether it helped.
- Outlines drawn faster.
Online matches work with 0.1.38, 0.1.38.1 and 0.1.38.2.
