Tenkaichi Budokai Online, chat fixes, and a change of licence.
Saves and settings carry over from 0.1.35.
Updating on Windows: replace every file of the old copy, not only the .exe. The new tbo folder must come along.
The game's "Update available" notice does not announce this release to 0.1.35: both count as 0.1.35.
Tenkaichi Budokai Online
A new entry on the main menu, below Dragon Net Battle: the game's online play in screens of its own, in the style of the game's menus.
- Quick Match: pick one on one or teams, and the game looks for an opponent.
- Create Room: a room code to give a friend, with the match's input delay and rollback.
- Join Room: type the code on the keypad, or PASTE it from the clipboard.
- Profile: your name, typed on the keypad or the keyboard (letters, numbers, space and
- _ . ! ? # & * +). - Train While Waiting: while it searches, spar in training; the match starts when an opponent is found.
- The tournament's announcer comments on what you do, and the screen reader reads the screens.
Dragon Net Battle and its window are still there.

Chat
Thanks to jllacchua (#102):
- A new match starts with an empty chat. Lines from an earlier match no longer stay, and no longer show under the new rival's name: each line keeps the name of whoever said it.
- Chat size (F1 > Misc, under "Online chat"): Compact, Normal or Large. Normal is the chat as it was.
- The chat window can be moved: with the line open (Tab), drag it where you want it. It stays there until the game is closed.
Also changed:
- Click a line to copy it while the chat is open, for a room code or an address. This replaces the Copy button of each line.
- Mute stays on until the game is closed, across rematches, as before.
- When both players have the same name, your own lines say "(you)".
Also
Thanks to Victorgonl (#104):
- F1 > Video shows the graphics card the game runs on.
- The character's shadow in the model viewer is drawn right.
Licence
The port's code is under the GNU AGPL, version 3, from this release on; code from before the change also stays under MIT. The program's folder has both licences. The official source is https://github.com/z3xox/Tenkaichi3Decomp. Browser versions of the game found elsewhere are not ours.
Tested
- Tenkaichi Budokai Online's screens, on Linux.
- An online match from its screens between a Linux and a Windows computer, both running this release's code.
- The Windows archive as packaged, with the screens' pictures in it.
- Both programs were built from the release's tag by GitHub's machines, with the build key. The matching PS2 build was run and both checks pass.
Not tested: a match against a computer still on 0.1.35, the chat changes in a match, and macOS.
