- Hidden: the open space's name and icon can be left off the top of the sidebar
altogether, whether or not the space has an icon. The spaces at the foot of the sidebar
keep their icons, or their dots with Space switcher… shows dots (thanks PowerFactory).

- The open space's name and icon (Sidebar and folders) is one choice in place of two
checkboxes: at the top of the sidebar, at the top as the icon only, above the tabs as
Zen does, or hidden. "Show the space's name above the tabs" and "Hide the space's name…
keeping its icon" carry over to it after Zen restarts. - The space switcher setting says what it does: Space switcher at the foot of the
sidebar shows dots, the open space's icon among them.
