Radio that plays, a wishlist worth keeping, and the same options on every screen.
Radio
- Internet radio plays. Stations were opened by the file reader, which waits for a broadcast to end before it starts — so they never did. Live streams now have their own reader, reconnect after a dropout, and stop buffering while paused.
- Stations keep their homepage. The field was read back under the wrong spelling, so the edit form opened blank and the next save wrote that blank over your value.
- The radio screen follows the same conventions as every other screen.
Wants
- Wants does something now. Rows show real artwork, open the album or artist they came from, and carry the same ⋯ menu as everywhere else.
- Get, when you ask for it. With a downloader connected, a want can be sent to it and shows its progress: queued, downloading, failed, or arrived. Wanting something never starts a download by itself.
- Want an artist, not just an album. With Lidarr connected that monitors the artist; without it, it waits for the artist to appear in your library.
Playback
- Songs no longer stall at their end. The next track was opened on the main thread, over the network, while everything waited.
- Music comes back after an interruption. After a call, Siri, an alarm, or another app taking the audio, playback resumes where it stopped instead of appearing to play in silence.
- Track changes are smoother. Home was rebuilding all of its shelves every time a song changed.
Everywhere
- One ⋯ on every screen. External albums and artists had no options at all; radio, podcasts and shares carried loose icons; several Home shelves offered nothing. They all match now.
- Your own copy plays first. A track you already own plays and opens as your full copy instead of a 30-second preview, wherever it appears.
- Every sheet is the same sheet — one background, handle, and sizing, instead of arbitrary heights.
Polish
- The splash screen is the greyed mark on black again.
- The mark signs the foot of Settings, beside links to this changelog and the site.
- The sleep timer moved into the player's sheet, with a chip while one is running.
- Downloads is a Library screen, so Settings stops offering it too.
Under the hood: audio runs on yuzic-engine 1.0.11, which brings the live-stream reader, the off-main-thread track advance, and interruption recovery.
