🔥 v3.6.0 Major Performance Update
Warning
- Fixed a serious performance regression introduced in v3.5.1.
- The issue was caused by the new “Rounded & Floating Web Content” feature added in v3.5.1.
- One of the most noticeable symptoms was the sluggish response when opening the “List All Tabs” panel — it could take over 0.5 seconds to appear.
- The browser UI also became noticeably unresponsive when using DevTools or the Browser Toolbox.
- As some long-time users may have guessed, the culprit was once again a
:root:has()selector affecting rendering performance.
- This regression has now been resolved, and performance has also been slightly optimized.
- Compared to v3.5.8, the response time is now approximately 17× faster.
- ⬆️ We recommend updating to this version as soon as possible.
