Fork of NuvioMedia/NuvioTV, merged up to upstream 0.7.18. This release rolls up the nt1 and nt2 fork increments on top of 0.7.17-beta-nt1.
Smarter quality selection (TRaSH Guides)
Stream filtering, sorting and auto-play selection are now aligned with the TRaSH Guides quality standards used by Radarr/Sonarr.
What's new
- Preferred release groups — a new ordered list in Connected Services → Filters & Sorting, pre-loaded with the TRaSH high-quality tiers (104 groups: remux tiers first, then UHD BluRay, HD BluRay, WEB). Used as a tie-breaker when streams are otherwise equal in quality.
- Junk filtered out by default — the exclusion lists are pre-filled with 155 known low-quality, bad-dual-audio and fake-HDR release groups (YIFY, GalaxyRG, MeGusta and friends), plus AV1 encodes, 3D and AI-upscaled releases, and CAM/TS/TC/SCR rips.
- Lossless audio ranks first — the default audio order is now TrueHD > DTS-HD MA > Atmos > DTS:X > FLAC.
- Direct Debrid shows up to 8 results by default (was 5), and cached streams always sort above ones still being checked.
What it applies to
- The stream list (manual selection): filtering, sorting and result caps apply to the Direct Debrid section — streams the app resolves itself through your debrid account, including torrent sources it resolves for you. Add-ons that deliver ready-to-play links (AIOStreams, Emby shares
and similar) are shown as those add-ons sent them; add-ons with their own filtering and debrid configuration keep doing their own thing, and the two simply stack. - Auto-play (Best quality): the rules apply to every source. Excluded releases are never auto-picked no matter which add-on supplied them, and the pick is made across all sources by resolution, then source quality (Remux > BluRay > WEB-DL), then release-group tier. If every candidate would be excluded, the best available stream still plays rather than nothing.

In control, either direction
Two quick actions are new at the bottom of Filters & Sorting:
Reset to recommended defaults returns everything to the TRaSH-aligned baseline in one tap, and Show everything removes all filters and result caps for full unfiltered access — low-quality releases included — while keeping the smart sorting, so the best copies still rise to the top.
Settings note
This build resets Filters & Sorting to the new defaults once. Re-apply any personal tweaks afterwards — from now on your edits are never overwritten by updates. All defaults are editable: remove an entry and it stays removed, and lower resolutions can be re-enabled under Required resolutions if you want them.
A Quality rules shortcut now sits alongside Auto Stream Selection in Playback settings, jumping straight to the filtering and sorting configuration in Connected Services.

Fixed
Redundant chunk re-downloads eliminated (nt2)
The parallel streaming engine was re-fetching chunks it had already downloaded — around 36% of all download requests on a 4K remux. The buffer pool no longer evicts a chunk that sits inside the active prefetch window, so every chunk is fetched exactly once (measured 228 → 0 redundant re-downloads over a 10-minute 4K remux session). As a side effect, the lighter request load makes debrid rate-limiting (HTTP 429) less likely to trip.
Shimmer rows losing focus (upstream 0.7.18)
Catalogue placeholder rows and their items no longer lose focus when the real content loads in, on both Classic and Modern home layouts.

The experimental TrueHD MAT/IEC61937 passthrough toggle's description text was shortened to fit its settings card. (The toggle remains experimental — leave it off unless testing.)
