This beta improves 'Proxy ad requests only' (i.e. optimized proxies) mode on Chromium browsers.
Up until this version, to proxy a request, the extension would allow all requests of the same type (even those that shouldn't get proxied) to go through for a set amount of time.
This update changes this to now make requests of the same type that shouldn't be proxied wait for the main request to complete, resulting in lower proxy usage.
If you would like to participate in this beta, you are more than welcome! If so, do not hesitate to report any problems regarding slower loading times, playback errors, failed proxied requests, or any other bug either via Discord or the linked GitHub discussion.
Install
- Chrome (Permanent): Unzip > Go to
chrome://extensions> Enable developer mode > Load unpacked
