• The "Automatically whitelist channels you're subscribed to" feature should now be stable

• This beta adds a new feature: support for other proxy protocols (HTTPS, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5)

  • To enable this feature, scroll down the options page and enable "Allow other protocols for proxies"
  • Use the format protocol://host:port in your proxy settings. The protocols are http, https, socks (SOCKS5), and socks4

I do not have access to HTTPS or SOCKS proxies other than locally-run ones. Please let me know of any issues with the feature.

I'm releasing this beta in order for any volunteers to test this feature with channels they're subbed to and report any bugs with the feature if any exist. Please report bugs on Discord or in the linked GitHub discussion. Thank you!

Installation:

• Chrome (Permanent): Unzip > Go to chrome://extensions > Enable developer mode > Load unpacked
• Firefox all editions (Temporary): Go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox > Load Temporary Add-on
• Firefox Developer Edition (Permanent): Go to about:config > Set xpinstall.signatures.required to false > Extensions page > Gear > Install Add-on From File
