• Mark a disk as do-not-use in the flash page. Press i on a device to
  exclude it from flashing. It stays in the list, greyed out and not selectable,
  so an internal eMMC or a backup drive cannot be picked by accident. Press i
  again to allow it. A mark follows the physical device, so it still applies
  after a reboot renames the disk or you move it to another port. The marks are
  saved per developer. See Flash page.
• BeaglePlay's analog inputs now work. The board's on-board ADC appears
  under /sys/bus/iio/devices, so you can read the mikroBUS AN pin and the
  Grove connector's analog pin from a running image. See
  Analog input.
• Alpine images now load drivers for hardware that is present at boot. A new
  coldplug package sweeps /sys early in boot and loads the matching modules,
  so onboard sensors and other built-in peripherals show up without anyone
  running modprobe. The development image includes it; the Debian and Ubuntu
  images already did this through udev. See

• New libiio package for working with IIO sensors. iio_info lists every
  sensor, channel and attribute on a board, iio_attr reads and writes them,
  and iio_readdev / iio_writedev stream sample buffers. The development
  image now includes it. See

• New iiod-init package serves a board's sensors over the network. Add it
  to an image to run iiod, which lets a development host work with the board's
  sensors remotely. It is a separate package because the daemon has no
  authentication and lets any client on the network read and write those devices
  — including driving outputs — so only add it on a network you trust.
