Features

• Added portable mode. Place a data folder or .portable file next to the app to keep all magpie data alongside the executable instead of in your user profile.

Improvements

• ClinePass now shows Cline desktop’s real free model list, labels free models correctly, and identifies as Cline desktop when contacting the Cline API.
• Factory GPT, Grok, and open-model requests are now formatted like Factory’s own Droid agent to reduce compatibility refusals.
• When the last available provider returns a rate-limit error without a retry time, magpie now waits and retries automatically before giving up.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed Codex memory or context updates resetting the conversation cache and interrupting the current Claude Code session. Mid-thread developer messages now stay in place.

Download from usemagpie.ai, or curl -fsSL https://usemagpie.ai/install.sh | sh. An installed magpie updates itself.
