- Claude subscriptions can use the agent's own instructions as the system prompt in place of Claude Code's (Settings › Replies › Short Claude system prompt, off by default): about 1K fewer input tokens a request.
- Chat tools from MCP or other API shapes can now be exposed upstream as Chat function tools.
- Codex background compaction can be enabled from Settings › Long conversations.
Improvements
- Skills are now grouped by source when using the skills CLI.
- DSH session headers and compaction marks are now recorded, including through a remote magpie.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Chat tool calls with empty IDs so an ID is generated from the call's place.
