A polish-focused release with substantial Dock Preview improvements and
native Liquid Glass support on macOS 26 Tahoe.
✨ New
- Liquid Glass on macOS 26. The Dock Preview panel picks up Apple's
refractive Liquid Glass material on Tahoe, with clean fallbacks on
older systems. Settings → Windows → Material lets you choose Auto,
Translucent, or Solid. - Launch animation picker. Choose how the preview panel reveals
itself: Fade stagger (default), Fan-out, Scale pop, or None. - Keyboard hint visibility. Settings → Windows → Show key hints —
Always, On keypress (badges fade in only when you press a key), or
Never. Numeric shortcuts still work regardless of hint visibility. - One-click "send to other display" in Dock Preview. With two
monitors, the icon next to a window's title moves it to the other
screen instantly. With three or more, you get a quick picker.
🎨 Design refinements
- Cleaner title bar. Window titles now float over the thumbnail
with a soft gradient instead of sitting in a separate frosted strip
— same actions, far less visual weight, no more "double frost"
competing with the panel material. - Tighter header. App name + window count on a single inline row
(Google Chrome · 3 windows), smaller icon, less padding. - Compact footer for small previews. When the preview size is
Small, the keyboard footer shows just the key glyphs — keeps the
panel snug instead of stretching past the thumbnail width. - More breathing room between cards (spacing 14 → 20).
🔧 Fixed
- Auto-update no longer prompts for the version you already have.
Build number now tracksMARKETING_VERSION, so Sparkle's comparison
finally agrees with what's actually installed. - "Check for Updates" works on the first click. Background checks
no longer swallow the user-initiated request; the sheet appears
immediately. - Search field stays focused when results are empty. The search
bar is now a stable sibling of the list rather than a safe-area
inset that re-mounts whenever the list swaps to its empty state. - Multi-display window move now lands correctly. Coordinate-system
conversion (Cocoa ↔ AX) is fixed, the window is scaled proportionally
to match the target display, and it's raised to the foreground so you
see the result. - Dock Preview no longer gets stuck open when the cursor leaves
the dock area. A 200ms safety poll covers the cases where macOS
drops mouseMoved events to global monitors over the Dock process. - Single-window panels now size correctly in small preview mode —
no more empty space on the right of the thumbnail.
