The introduction of persistent article reading notitfication had an intersting consequence. Ones upon a time I noticed that my phone is feezed. The source of problems was HNR, occuping 700 MB RAM memory and indication a memory leak in the app. If article reading notification was turned off (or in previous app versions) the system simply killed the app when it was occupying very much memory, and when the user returned to the app, it was started again. It the new app version this problem was fixed - the app memory consumption in not inceasing over time.
So is the article reading notification now useless? - No. The app still consumes about 200 MB while reading the article (much due to WebView component) which makes the app be the first candidate for killing by system to reallocate free memory when the app is inactive. ..
Whats new:
- settings - article text - button layout (horizontal / vertical / do not show buttons )
- translation updates (Chinese Traditional, Indonesian languages were added)
- some bug fixes
