This release has final step to make xxh shell agnostic.

Update
You should full reinstall xxh:

1. python3 -m pip install --upgrade xonssh-xxh
2. Remove or rename ~/.xxh directory
3. Run xxh without arguments to create new ~/.xxh directory
4. Install your plugins to ~/.xxh/xxh/plugins. The shell will be installed during first connection.
