Our beta release of 4.1
Key features and improvements for this release:
- Connector: SSP activity report expanded with a summary view
- Folders: improvements to the folder control to handle long folder names
- Layout Editor: various fixes to loading and rendering
- Layout Editor: new ellipse element
- Layout Editor: highlight the viewer when a preview is running
- Network: various improvements for using the CMS on a slow connection
- Schedule: criteria extended to include common weather criteria
- Security: fixes for the CSP (content security policy)
- Widget: new stencils for Currencies and Stocks widgets
- Widget: fallback data can be manually added and used when no data is returned
The look, feel and main functionality of 4.1 is finalised with this release. We will release a series of release candidates over the coming weeks which will fix any issues found in 4.1. New features will be developed in 4.2.
This release is a development preview and should not be used in production. This release should be used for testing only.
