This version fixes the Fractal > View menu option, the 4.0 chapter in the tutorial, and some issues that caused random crashes (mainly when exiting the program). The Help > About menu option now has a distincitve icon.
An experimental new interface is available in both Windows packages (XaoSMobile.exe). We plan to introduce this user interface for tablets and smartphones soon. This experimental version is based on Qt's QML and Qt Quick technologies. (Because of the new interface, several new DLLs had to be added to the packages, resulting in a slight increase in their size.)
We welcome your feedback on this new interface! There are still bugs, unimplemented features and disabled buttons in this new version, but feel free to try it out and let us know about your experience. The mobile interface is contributed by Avinash Sharma as part of the Google Summer of Code 2026 project and is still under active development. If you do not have the opportunity to try it yourself, have a look at the mobile or desktop build.

Native platforms are built with Qt version 6.10, except the online version which was built with Qt 6.7.
