New in v1.18.0-beta2
New features & improvements:
- Added optional software brightness controls using the display gamma ramp. This allows Twinkle Tray to control compatible displays that do not support DDC/CI or WMI brightness controls. (Thanks @Fin2003, #1307)
- Added options to use gamma brightness as a monitor’s primary slider or to extend its minimum brightness range below the display’s normal hardware limit.
- Brightness Up and Brightness Down keys can now be configured as hotkeys for Twinkle Tray. (Thanks @zuyan9, #1291)
- Improved brightness handling for built-in laptop displays by using the native Windows WMI interface first, with the older Windows method available as a fallback.
- Added brightness control support for the Sceptre M27 display. (Thanks @rafaelcaraballo-habi, #1301)
