What's Changed
New Features
- Added: network source modes: Full download (default), Smart, and Low storage. A single APK can be streamed when supported; package archives are still downloaded in full. Streaming cannot perform full APK signature verification; Android performs the final check. Choose Full download when full pre-install signature analysis is needed. @Shikochin
- Added: configurable app signature analysis, a separate split-package analysis toggle, and details such as certificate summaries, signature schemes, and verification issues. App signature analysis is on by default; split-package analysis is off. On supported system SDKs, InstallerX can detect Android 17 v3.2 and ML-DSA signatures.
- Added: Oplus OS SDK compatibility checks on OPPO and OnePlus devices when Show OEM extra info is enabled. If the device version is too low, InstallerX shows both versions and disables installation.
- Added: an Unknown scope to handle abnormal installation behavior on certain OPPO and vivo systems.
- Added: Smart authorization, which tries enabled fallback authorizers in the order chosen by the user. None is available only when system session installation is supported.
- Added: Auto-approve session installs. It is disabled by default and should only be enabled for trusted sources. Install requester settings can also use no override, the initiating app, or a selected installed app.
- Added: install pre-approval support and improved existing permission-confirmation flows. Apps that request an installation result now receive success, failure, or cancellation results, improving compatibility with third-party callers.
- Added: operation history. You can enable or disable it, keep or clear existing records when disabling it, and control history indicators separately. Up to 100 records are retained.
- Added: backup and restore for profiles, scopes, app settings, and history. Backups are validated before a confirmed restore replaces the current settings.
- Added: detection of installed Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch modules, with version comparison while installing a new module.
- Added: archived-app restoration and removal of archived entries when running as the system package manager on Android 15 and later. Low storage, offline operation, and an unavailable original installer now have actionable messages.
- Added: install-dialog display options to show only differences or always show old and new values, and to expand temporary settings by default.
Improvements
- Improved: install-source identification and unknown-source permission prompts, including clearer messages when the requesting app is hidden. Fixed user-list loading with custom authorizers and restricted install options that Dhizuku does not support.
- Improved: local APK, APKS, APKM, XAPK, and ZIP parsing to reduce unnecessary temporary files and repeated extraction, with better handling of unusual ZIP formats. Improved split selection and batch analysis, and added a separate writing-progress stage during installation.
- Improved: queuing for consecutive install, uninstall, and session-confirmation requests, strengthened confirmation-source checks, and prevented repeated submissions. Fixed stale notifications during rapid stage changes and background actions triggered while a session is closing.
- Improved: Material 3 and Miuix settings, back, and sheet interactions. Settings better adapt to font scaling, and the page no longer scrolls while reordering items. The floating bottom bar now supports keyboard navigation and accessibility.
Changes
- Changed: online and offline packages are unified into one APK. Use Allow Internet access in Network settings to control update checks and network downloads. Release filenames still include
onlinefor compatibility with in-app updates. - Changed: existing signature policies are now named Block Signature Mismatch and Block Unknown Signature. Both blocks are disabled by default for new profiles.
- Changed: 26.09 is the last version supporting Android 8.0 and 8.1. Future versions will require Android 9 or later.

Fixes
- Fixed: missing scopes when undoing a profile deletion; restoring the profile also restores its source-app associations.
- Fixed: split and dex metadata selections are restored when an app is deselected and reselected during batch installation. Reopening results from a notification also restores the selected app’s details.
- Fixed: concurrent ZIP entry reads and stale system file index entries after deleting install packages.
- Fixed: Android 17+ self-updates now recover their state after the process is killed, show the final result, and clean up source files.

新增功能
- 新增：网络源处理模式，包括完整下载（默认）、智能和低存储占用。支持条件满足时，单个 APK 可以流式处理，应用包归档仍会完整下载。流式处理无法执行完整 APK 验签，最终由系统校验；需要完整的安装前签名分析时请选择“完整下载” @Shikochin
- 新增：可配置的应用签名分析、独立的拆分包签名分析开关，以及证书摘要、签名方案和验证问题等详情。应用签名分析默认开启，拆分包分析默认关闭。在受支持的系统 SDK 上，可以检测 Android 17 v3.2 和 ML-DSA 签名。

优化与改进
- 优化：安装来源识别和未知来源授权提示。发起安装的应用被隐藏时，会给出更明确的提示；修复自定义授权器下的用户列表读取，并限制 Dhizuku 不支持的安装选项。
