If you own an SDRplay RSP1, FoxSDR has been tuning it with the wrong filter in circuit. The RSP1 shares its USB identity with the Mirics reference design the old television sticks were built on, and FoxSDR assumed every device with that identity was a television stick — so an RSP1 got the wrong band plan: the wrong switch word and the wrong band edges, quietly, with nothing on screen to say so. It now recognises an RSP1 by what the device calls itself and gives it the right plan.

And an RSP1A was shown as an RSP1. The product identities in the driver were wrong: 3000 is an RSP1A, not an RSP1, and the real RSP1 is 2500. The names in the Source list are now the models SDRplay actually ships.

RSPduo, RSPdx, RSP1B and RSPdx-R2 are deliberately not driven natively. Each adds front-end hardware — switched filters, extra gain steps, antenna ports, notches — that this driver has no way to control, and there is no SDRplay device here to learn it from. A native entry that opened your radio and then heard almost nothing would look like FoxSDR failing rather than a driver that was never written. Every RSP, including those four, works through the SDRplay API, which stays the supported route: install SDRplay's API 3.x from sdrplay.com and your RSP appears.

What has been checked. 139 tests pass on Windows and on a clean Linux clone, 434 of them in the Mirics driver's own test, and the new ones fail when the logic is removed. The identities are checked against SDRplay's own published device rules.

Not checked: any of it, on a radio. No Mirics or SDRplay device has ever been on this bench. If you own an RSP1 or RSP1A, this is the release worth telling us about — either way.

The Linux files are still in development. The Android alpha stays at 0.98.1-android.1.
