Some plugins are only offered in certain countries. The plugin store already fetches a public plugin list from GitHub; it now also asks foxsdr.com for a short additional list that varies by country, worked out from your connection's address by Cloudflare. foxsdr.com does not store the address or the country, and records nothing about the request. A plugin on that list downloads from foxsdr.com instead of GitHub, and the request is skipped entirely if you have pointed the store at a different catalogue. The first plugin to use this is Radar Sweep, a new decoder that works out where the air-traffic radars around you are from the Mode A/C replies aircraft give them - offered to US users only for now. The usage report now says how FoxSDR was installed. The anonymous usage report now says how FoxSDR was installed (Store, installer, AppImage, tarball or Android) and the day and version it was first run - a day, never a time, deleted with the install id when reporting is turned off. PRIVACY.md lists the three fields.
