The tuning knob is gone. The counter plate's toggle switches do the stepping: flick a switch up or down to move that digit, hold it to repeat, and the tubes still scroll and take a typed frequency. The VOLUME dial moves back beside the counter.
The SAMPLE RATE and FRAME TIME meters are there from the first launch. They were only drawn once the window was wider than a fresh install's, so a new user never saw them until they maximised. The rule now asks only for the room the meters actually need, and both are on the deck at the default window size.
