A sample-rate change no longer happens under a live stream. An RTL-SDR user lost the whole program 45 seconds after opening the ADS-B window: its preset changed the radio's sample rate while the USB stream was running, and the driver's own reader thread later died inside libusb, where FoxSDR cannot catch a fault. The rate is now changed with the stream stopped and restarted around it, which is the order the driver's own source shows to be safe. A rate the radio refuses leaves it running at the old one.
The log now carries what the radio driver says. Three things that were missing from that crash report: the driver's own messages, what the vendor libraries print to stderr (librtlsdr's "device lost" warnings went nowhere before), and a stream-health line once a minute counting timeouts, overflows, errors and the longest gap without samples. Crash reports carry an 80-line tail and say whether the faulting thread was FoxSDR's own. PRIVACY.md lists the two new fields.
